Zadar is a city of romance and love, a place of passion and spirit. It is a city like an open-air museum, where its narrow streets will take you to:

Walking along Zadar's waterfront you will hear the sea playing the most beautiful melody on its organ. Sit down for a while, rest and enjoy this special experience. A few steps from the Sea Organ you can see the modern installation Greeting to the Sun. The famous director Alfred Hitchcock said that the sunset in Zadar is the most beautiful in the world. We assure you that it is a special feeling to see the sun in all its colors plunge into the blue of the sea. Allow yourself and set sail with small boats and a barkajol that take passengers and tourists back almost 3000 years into the past.

If you want an active vacation - we have a lot of offers in our region for you. Visit the National Park Kornati, the largest and most indented marine park in the Mediterranean, a wonder of nature and a labyrinth of 89 islands, islets and rocks.
National Park Krka is an empire of waterfalls and cascades of the river Krka. The first hydroelectric power plant in the world and the first in Europe was built here. National Park Krka is at approximately one-hour-drive from Zadar.
National Park Paklenica is known for its stunning canyons, rocks, caves, and wildlife. You will need 30 minutes by car to get to Paklenica.
National Park Plitvice Lakes is the oldest Croatian national park. The biggest attraction of Plitvice Lakes are waterfalls. The highest waterfall is 78 m high.
In 1979, UNESCO included Plitvice Lakes on the List of World Natural Heritage. Plitvice Lakes are at one-hour's drive from Zadar by car.
